By day I'm a gardener, cafe owner, illustrator, and restorer of a 19th-century manor, by night... I am asleep.
Hi, I'm E.G Bear, aka Lemmylou, and I am a chronic daydreamer.
I came up with the idea of Middengeard when I was ten... which was too many years ago now, and I've been obsessed ever since. When I want to escape, I run away to this world and try to make sense of the real world I've left behind.
I am currently trying to write my novel about this world, but its slow progress because my OCD occasionally forces me to delete everything I have ever done. (But since joining WA, this habit has become less and less!)
Interests & Hobbies
Aside from writing, I love to paint, draw, garden, and do woodwork. I'm also a keen DIYer
Favorite Books
Anything fantasy. Really into Iain M. Banks' culture novels at the moment. Harry Potter fan for life (just the books to be super clear, not the films or politics!)
Also a big fan of Louis DeBernieres. Not fantasy, but I love the way his writing makes me feel and unsettles me. Just like Iain M.Banks, I like to be unsettled.
