before the familiar relations update i had a family set up with parents and children/adopted children. now i saw they are no longer being displayed as siblings. when i go onto the "biological" child's page to add the adopted sibling, i enter the name, tick the [ ] adopted field, and then it says the parents aren't the same. i check on their world pages. the biological child has the parents as "regular" parents and the adopted child has them as "adopted parents". everything is set correctly, they even appear correctly in the family tree. but then when in the editor it prompts me to edit the adoptive sibling's parents to match them, and there the adoptive parents are suddenly set as the biological ones and if i try to take them out of being the biological ones and set them as adoptive, then the interface just does nothing. i can click on the green "done" button 10 times, it doesn't do anything. doesn't react at all   Ive encountered the same problem with various other families too. the family tree recognizes the siblings, even listing them as siblings on the right side, but on the character article they will not show up. I am unsure what exactly could be done to recreate this, unless creating a family with several siblings and then seeing if they all show up correctly is a thing. the siblings were shown on their pages before the family tree update, i dont know what exactly did that
