I believe that I have settled on a theme refresh that I can use for the time being. It's not a full refresh but it is close enough that I can be happy with it. I wanted something with a light theme, which you can view right now here:

I'm also have begun submitting for the 6th Annual #WorldBuildingAwards so updates might be here and there as I finalize my submissions. This will also occur alongside other changes that I will make to Arktoria this week. This will be a busy week for me with worldbuilding, but it will be worth it in the long term

Hello everyone,

Now that the #WorldEmber Awards Ceremony has passed, I can finally update my articles. And I do have some updates to make, along with some planned changes I intend to do. What are some of those changes?

The first being that I am working on a new background & world banner for my world of Arktoria to give it more of an original visual identity. I'll keep the current color scheme for now as I'm still tinkering with that in my mind. Once I finish making that changes, i"ll post a community update to inform my followers and the wider community.

The second is my plans to add more images to my articles overtime, although it will be in phases as I complete the artwork. I've already started doing with the relatively recent update I made to the Rogue profession which you can view below:

I will continue to do so with more and more images as I finish them.

That is all the current updates I have at the moment. I will be submitting entries for the 6th #WorldBuildingAwards contest as well. Updates on those entries will come later. Until them, have a great day!

The Owlworks makes its Youtube (re)debut!

It only took an age and a half, but the winds of creation finally found themselves beneath my wings! Behold, my first vlog!

I took a years-long Youtube hiatus, and now we're BACK — starting with a new writer vlog series where I take you through month-by-month adventures in the Owlworks! This episode 0.5 kicks off the series with a 2025/winter recap and covers the end of March... with most of April being through at this point (oh my god??), you likely already know where the next episode will pick up!

WAWA Update from the Owlworks: HOLY / BLUE ANVIL /!

Many of you got to witness my live reactions to this information, but... six nominations??? I've done nothing but lay spiritually on the floor (maybe physically as well, for a little while) and process this!

Thank you SO much for the community love and support — for my third Worldbuilding Awards run, you've tripled my total nomination count in one act of love and fevered voting. I hope I can count on you again to pull an award or two from these nominations, but I am just so thrilled to have reached this point. Much love!

Wow. Can you all believe it's almost March already? I had so much I wanted to do but so much is happening and it's just a bit XP but, as always, I'm just trying to keep praying and keep going. Today, I have a couple of interesting updates for you all.

Kickstart the ZineMonth!

I launched a project for ZineQuest and ZineMonth called Rock Paper Scissors Spy. You can find more info and back the project here:
