Description

The Stenndrengen are the Dwarfs that made up the Army of Stone. Their own name alludes to the earthy origins of their creation, as in past time the resilience of their kin was tested and found to be sturdy. As the militarization of the Dwarf societies of old became prevalent, so to did the enlistment of thousands of Dwarfs into the Stone Army, which defined the standard of what it means to be part of a standardized military, with skillsets to develop, too.   In battle, the Stenndrengen can be found to be some of the best defensive armies possible to enlist for a cause. Their capacity for holding territory and maintaining order is so high, most other races don't notice the presence of harmful species nearby. On a day-to-day basis, typical Dwarf commoners would see several of them, fulfilling their role as it is defined by their authority figures.   Stenndrengen are Level VI Dwarfs.   Gear: Drakstahl (Longsword), Stenerr (Plate, Heavy), Jagstei (Shield), 10 Schulden (Bullets), Backpack, 10 GP.

Ideals

Protection. (Order) The Stenndrengen intend on creating safe environments for their own people and for the surrounding fauna to thrive. While their role is strictly military, their deployment and procedure reflect care and respect to the earth.

Bonds

Standardization. (Occupation) The Stenndrengen are trained similarly, live similarly, and operate much like each other, during and after military service. In the time that they are, the Dwarfs of Stone are much like each other, and differ very little.

Flaws

Obsession. (Personality) Even with their dedications to society and their military might, the Stenndrengen sometimes become so involved, there is little possibility to make clear as to what is personal and what is professional.

Suggested Environments

The Stenndrengen reside within the walls of their citadels and mountain homes. Inside, they sometimes arm the garrison houses, patrol near the mining shafts, guard the hospitals, and watch over the battlements of the outside walls. They can be seen by the portcullises of their forts, finding the comfort to blend in with the neutral colors of stone and mountain. Mountains, plains terrains, flatlands, hilly locations, and similar kinds of environments usually have some element of Dwarfish military presence, and with it the Stenndrengen are also likely.

Unique Traits.
Stentoz (Stone Wall).
As an army ability, Stenndrengen can lock shields together, forming an impassable wall that will resist against creatures attempting to force their way through. Their movement decreases to zero, and subsequently have advantage on Strength, and Constitution saving throws. As part of their blockage, attack rolls suffer a decrease of 2 in their attempt to hit the Dwarf behind the shield.
Drakstahl-Ruen (Steel Sword of Ruin).
In combat, the Stenndrengen have a particular proficiency in dealing with creatures of ruin. If the Army of Stone is engaged with Goblins, Orcs, Trolls, the Undead, the Stahlcren, the Tinkelde, or the Angrats, their damaging potential increases. 18 3d8+5 Slashing damage.
Acclimated Armor.
The armor that the Stony Dwarfs possess, when in the right places, can be used in a method of concealment, giving them advantage in Stealth.

Actions

Multiattack. The Stenndrengen can make two attacks with their Drakstahlen, their Longswords.

Drakstahl. +5 to hit, single target. 5 ft. range, 11 2d8+2 Slashing damage.
